About our home care service

Our home care service consists of four units that operate both in urban and rural areas, making the planning work varied and developing. The operations are led by three home care managers, and together we work closely to create good quality, a good working environment, and safe care for our clients.

As a planner, you will become a central part of the operations and collaborate daily with both managers and employees in the different units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission

As a planner, you are responsible for planning and coordinating home care services to ensure that the needs of clients are met with good quality, continuity, and effective use of the organization's resources.

In this role, you will:

• Plan and coordinate daily home care services based on clients' needs and available scheduled staff.
• Maintain close dialogue with staff in the organization and adjust planning as needed based on current conditions during the day.
• Ensure that the right staff reaches the right clients based on needs and competencies.
• Adapt and adjust planning in response to changes in the organization, such as staff illness or when clients cancel or change their scheduled services.
• Work in digital planning and operational systems.
• Follow up and contribute to improvements regarding staffing, continuity, travel time, and resource utilization.
• Maintain close dialogue with staff, unit managers, and other professionals.
• We are also in a development phase where more advanced digital planning support, including AI-based functions, may become part of the work in the future.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, thinking several steps ahead, and working in a role where both structure and people are in focus.

You have:

• Experience in home care, elderly care, or similar operations.
• The ability to see the big picture and make decisions even when conditions change rapidly.

It is advantageous if you:

• Have previously worked with planning or staffing.
• Have an understanding of staffing economics and tracking key performance indicators.
• Have experience with operational systems in healthcare and social services; experience with systems such as TES, SAMSA, Medvind, and SEFOS is particularly advantageous.
